After looking forward to this race for more than 6 months, I can’t believe its already over, and I’m Tinkerbell!
Mark and I combined the race with a vacation to visit a friend in L.A. We got into L.A. late Friday night, and drove down to Anaheim Saturday morning. The expo had been open since Thursday, so I didn’t expect much merchandise to be left, but I did manage to get my hands on a few things. I wish RunDisney would consider making merchandise available for runners to preorder so everyone has a chance.
After we spent ample time (and money) at the expo, we hit up Disneyland! It was only my second time to visit the California parks, and I was pretty excited.
After walking WAY too much, we visited Trader Sam’s for a little while, then had a great pizza dinner in Downtown Disney and scoped out the start line.
We headed back to the hotel to get ready for the morning. I laid out my outfit, including the special pink wings my sister made just for this race.
