Back to the Grind

So it’s time to get back to it.

Last week was rough.  My knee didn’t take to kindly to moving on land vs. the water.  I had an evening work meeting.  So mileage suffered.  Then it was time for 10 miles on Saturday, and it was rough.  I’m still sore.

This week’s plan is:

M: 3 mi easy
T: yoga
W: 6 w/ 4 @ tempo
R: 3 easy
F: rest
S: 10 mi
Su: strength

Monday’s run ended up going really well.  It’s a little cooler, and I changed up the run/walk interval a bit for a little less of a walk.  All of that translated into a relatively easy run at about what Wednesday’s tempo pace should be.  Only 44 days until Wine and Dine, so I’m hoping I’m in a pretty good place.
